The new year brought an all-new redesigned website to the Longview Public Library with more
features than ever!
Longviewlibrary.org is the web home of the Longview Public Library. Created in collaboration
with the City of Longview, the user–focused design approach grew out of community feedback,
surveys, and months of research and planning. New features include:
• Prominent catalog and website search boxes
• Program and event pages for kids, teens, and adults
• Front page links to popular services like printing, library cards, and local history
• A popular resources page and more!
“Our new site reflects the vitality of Longview and our community and serves as a vital branch
of our Longview Public Library, a portal to our many online resources,” says Jennifer Jensen,
Technical Services Librarian. “The goal was to make the site easier to navigate, helpful, and
good-looking. We’re still making a few updates, but we’re excited about it!”
