Longview Public Library welcomes Lisa Hedgepeth as new Adult Services Librarian

The Longview Public Library is pleased to announce that Lisa Hedgepeth will be the new Adult Services Librarian, beginning Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Lisa brings 20 years of library experience at the Longview Public Library, working her way up from part-time Clerk to Technician and then Circulation Specialist.

Hedgepeth has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Ashford University (2014) and a Master of Arts in Information and Library Science from Kent State University (2017). Her passion for reading and literacy will be a great fit for restarting our adult literacy program known as Project READ.

Hedgepeth commented, “I look forward to continuing my support of our community as I expand into the Adult Services Librarian role ensuring that the materials, programs, and services of the library meet the needs of our adult patrons.”
