Longview Police Records

Beginning today, Thursday, July 1, 2021, Longview Police Department has started a new law enforcement records division.  The city of Longview has contracted with Cowlitz County since 1991 for this service.

“We appreciate all of the hard work that Cowlitz County Law Enforcement Records staff have done over the last 30 years to support our department.  Your support is instrumental in our ability to do our jobs, said Longview’s Police Chief Robert Huhta.”

Records staff enter police report data into criminal justice databases, enter, confirm and remove warrants, protection orders, missing persons and runaways.  They also process public disclosure requests for police reports and assist with other tasks such as SWAT call outs.

After hours warrant confirmation will continue to be provided by Cowlitz County Law Enforcement Records.

Anyone wishing to request a copy of a Longview Police Department police report should make a request via the police department’s website at the link below
