Dave Andrew
A lifelong resident of Longview, Dave is the Director of Customer Service at Cowlitz PUD. From 1997 to 2011 he was the PUD’s Manager of Communications and Government Affairs, where he served as a lobbyist for the PUD on state and federal issues and managed the PUD’s internal and external communications and community service effort.
Dave is a 1972 graduate of Mark Morris High School (Longview) and Washington State University, where he earned two Bachelor’s Degrees – in Business Administration and Communications. He has been involved in the local sports community since the late 1970s as a youth basketball and softball coach, public address announcer for local high school and community college sports, umpire and board member for the Lower Columbia Umpire’s Association, radio sports broadcaster and Board member of the Longview Babe Ruth Baseball World Series Committee.
Dave and his wife Linda have three grown children and four granddaughters.
George Raiter
George holds a BS in Chemistry from California State University (Chico), an Executive MBA from the University of Oregon and is a registered Professional Engineer (California). After spending 10 years at Reynolds Aluminum as a plant manager in the electrical division, he was an engineering and maintenance manager at Weyerhaeuser. George then was a business owner for many years until serving as a Cowlitz County Commissioner, 2001 – 2012.
He has held or currently holds many community and political positions including: State Legislature (House of Representatives), past Mayor and member of the Longview City Council, past Chair of the Economic Development Council, past President of the PeaceHealth/St. John Medical Center Governing Board, past President of the Longview Chamber of Commerce, Governor-appointment County Commissioner for the Washington Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB), and Government appointee on the Lower Columbia College Board of Trustees.
George and his wife Judith have two grown sons and three grandchildren.
Holly McShane
Holly received her B.A. in Philosophy at Davidson College and her teaching certification at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has enjoyed a career in education and has taught a variety of subjects in both private and public schools. Holly is currently an instructor in the Transitional Studies department at Lower Community College.
Holly has volunteered in this community for the last ten years in many capacities: Babe Ruth Baseball Board, 4-H Horse Club Leader and county secretary, Washington State High School Equestrian Team Fundraising Chair, Hilander Pony Club, St. Vincent DePaul, St. Frances Circle, St. Rose School, Mark Morris High School, Seton Catholic High School Commission, and the Lower Columbia College Master Planning Committee. As an avid horse lover, the revitalization of the fairground property is a project very dear to Holly’s heart.
She and her husband Frank have two children currently in college.
