Station 81 was built in 1975. It has two dorm areas, administrative offices for the Chief, on-duty Battalion Chief, the Fire Marshal and the Administrative Assistant. It also has a company officer office/training room, kitchen, day room, a shop area and two bays.
Truck 81, our aerial ladder truck, and Engine 81 respond from this station. The Battalion Chief command vehicle, the fire marshal's investigation vehicle and a department pickup are also stored here. There is also a mobile breathing air supply trailer that is owned from Maritime Fire & Safety Association that is stored here. Anyone who is a member of the MFSA could request the use of this trailer in an emergency situation.
This station is manned by two companies and the administrative staff. One engine company and one ladder truck company respond from this station. There is a minimum of six line firefighters and one battalion chief on duty 24-hours a day. The fire marshal also works part-time out of this facility and part-time at the Community Development Department located at City Hall at 1528 Broadway Street, Longview.

Station 82 was built in 1979. This station has a minimum of three line firefighters on-duty 24-hours a day, with a maximum of five firefighters.
Engine 82 responds to the west end of the City limits of Longview and also respond as backup to Station 81 if they have a significant incident, or if they are out-of-service at the time of the call. Whoever is the closest unit at the time of the call tries to cover to have the quickest response time possible.
This station has an office, a company officer's office, dorm room, dayroom-kitchen and a bay. Engine 82 Medic 82 and the 1923 American LaFrance Engine are stored here.
The American LaFrance is owned and maintained by the Longview Firefighters Association. It was restored in 1997 by the help of many firefighters and local businesses.
