Administration
The Administration team of the Longview Police Department will seek input and advice from employees before making critical decisions for the department and continually strive to enhance our skills and proactively work with the community to reduce crime, disorder, and the fear of crime.
A Message from the Chief
It is an honor to be the City of Longview Chief of Police. I am fortunate to work with individuals who are dedicated to the mission of the department. Our employees are committed to our core values of Integrity, without compromise, Courage, in adversity, Teamwork, above self and Service, above all. These core values will drive our actions going forward.
The department is part of the community and our focus is to enhance the partnerships with other city departments and community stakeholders to address crime and disorder issues. We are committed to engage the citizens for their input on what policing looks like in Longview. We thank the community for the continuous support and we will strive to continue to maintain and build public trust. We will work collaboratively with all of our community partners to help make Longview a safe place to live, work, play and visit.
It is important that we continue to evolve as a law enforcement agency and implement best practices for 21st Century Policing. Employee safety and health are a priority while utilizing technology as a force multiplier. I am committed to providing our employees with the training and equipment which allows them to provide high quality service to the community.
I am excited for the future of the Longview Police Department. We will focus on the present and future while learning from the past. Thank you for the opportunity to serve all of you.
